Sweet and SteamyAnother great one from Jessa。 Super sweet too, I loved how these two support each other。 Adorable, steamy quick read。
Kat,
Another hot little readJessa Kane does it again! Love the spicy and obsessive insta-lust to love。 Jessa always knows how to write intense chemistry and it’s always fun to read her characters fall for each other physically and emotionally。
Toi,
Quick Cute ReadQuick cute read, if you like quick love stories this one is for you 。 。 。 。 。 。
Anna Whin,
starting my week off right with a newly released jessa kane book 😍i really liked this one。 the roles were reversed for a change where we see the heroine as the badass, genius billionaire at the age of 20。 the H was super sweet and loved her and supported her through everything。 another knock out of the park for JK 💗
Lana,
The naivete about sex can be good, but it didnt fit here。 She is supposed to be a know it all genius。 Shes never learned about sex, pregnancy or orgasms? I dont buy it。
Jenny Keyes,
intenseWow! That book was intense and hot! I loved the chemistry and passion between Turk and Missy。 So steamy it fogged up my glasses。 Jessa Kane’s books are a go-to for me。 Her writing makes the characters jump off each page。
Amy,
Fluffing incredible as always Jessa Kane!
Seikai,
Hot smut read, but the heroine was such a narcissistic asshole that reminded me waaay too much of people I know 😑。This is the story of Missy and Turk。 Missy is a "genius prodigy" know-it-all, who has no filter on her mouth and constantly tells people what they do wrong or what they should do differently。 As a result, she is rich but oh so lonely。So she comes up with the genius idea to go make a baby whose sole purpose in life will be to put up with her personality and whom she will rely on for a Hot smut read, but the heroine was such a narcissistic asshole that reminded me waaay too much of people I know 😑。This is the story of Missy and Turk。 Missy is a "genius prodigy" know-it-all, who has no filter on her mouth and constantly tells people what they do wrong or what they should do differently。 As a result, she is rich but oh so lonely。So she comes up with the genius idea to go make a baby whose sole purpose in life will be to put up with her personality and whom she will rely on for all social and emotional interaction。 Her plan is set into motion when she sees Turk, a big burly worker at her factory。 They are instantly attracted to each other and Missy asks Turk to impregnate her。Missy, the heroine:This was basically Missy in a nutshell:I just couldn't with this heroine。 She reminded me way too much of actual assholes I've met in real life。 I felt my blood pressure rising as I read about her stupid and narcissistic thought processes。 Every single person I've seen who's gone on about what a "genius" they are and how they "can't help but tell others the truth about how they're wrong" and how "people can't handle their harsh truth" have been insufferable and frankly, terrible people。 That Missy keeps talking about how she's "always right" made me see red。 No, people don't hate you for being such a perfect genius。 You literally have no one in your life because you think you're always right and the expert on everything (when the actual truth of that being the case is highly unlikely), and because you're an asshole that hasn't bothered to learn when to keep your opinions to yourself。 Don't even get me started on how utterly self-centered it is that she decides to produce a baby because no one else can stand her。 What's she gonna do if even the baby can't stand her smug ass?Turk, the hero:Typical Jessa Kane hero, OTT horny, growly and possessive。 I think of him as a massive enabler to our narcissistic heroine。 Because he lacks self confidence in his own intelligence (and also because he's a horny simp), he laps up everything the heroine says。 I rolled my eyes when he started opening up to the heroine about his insecurities, and she turned around to talk about how she also got rejected for academic decathlon but for the opposite problem of being too smart (wat) and so she made her own and went solo and was sooo successful。 He constantly enables her and gets his friends and coworkers to humor her, and the heroine ends up learning nothing and coming to the conclusion that she was right all along and everyone else who shunned her was wrong 🤦♀️。 This excerpt says it all:Yes。 They’re not intimidated or annoyed by what I’m saying—and that makes me wonder if I just came into contact with the wrong people too young。 People who resented my brain instead of welcoming how it worked…The hero did this。 He encouraged a monster。 And now the heroine will never learn and grow to be a better and more humble person。Probably the most WTF moment for me was when the hero brought the heroine to watch his friend's football game, and as soon as he introduces her to his coach, she goes on a long lecture about how the coach is doing the wrong tactics and what he should do instead。 Everyone reacts like she's such a genius and the coach acts worshipful like she's the best thing since buttered bread。 I'm here like:They go on to implement her strategies, and celebrate her when they win。What is this Mary Sue novel I'm reading? It felt like reading something from r/thatHappened。On the other hand, the smut and breeding kink was hot。 3 stars for that, because good smut can help overwrite some of the fury I felt while reading this。Special mention goes to Jessa Kane inventing new ways to describe a man's humongous ding dong。Does she really not notice my cock is the length and consistency of a jumbo Arizona Iced Tea can right now?Arizona Iced Tea?!! Also, it's worrying that his dick is of the consistency of iced tea。Safety:* Heroine a virgin* Hero is NOT a virgin, although it's not detailed about his past experiences。* No OM or OW。 No cheating。* No condoms or protection, breeding kink。* Unknown age gap, heroine is 20 years old, and is considered young by hero。* HEA with epilogue and babies。 。。。more
